Hosted by
David Mulkins / 6 & B Garden
Historian and Bowery advocate David Mulkins gives an illustrated talk on the Bowery’s long collapse-and-reinvention: tap and vaudeville, the lodging-house years, and the punk rooms that followed. Saturday September 12, 2026, in the 6th Street and Avenue B Community Garden. Mulkins has spent years walking this corridor with conservation and memory as the job. The talk is images plus argument, not a nostalgia slide show. One scrape of the garden calendar printed a 07:00 start; treat the evening window (19:00–21:00) as the real one and confirm on 6bgarden.org. Outdoor, free or donation. Bring a seat. This is local history in the neighborhood that still lives with the Bowery one avenue over.
Buy a drink, grill food is free. Sundays 17:30–19:30 through Sep 6.
