Hosted by
OR Books and Lux Magazine
OR Books and Lux Magazine launch Rosa Luxemburg's Herbarium: Radical Ecology and the Global Plantation inside the 6th Street and Avenue B Community Garden. Author Claudia Horn talks with Lux editor Cora Currier. Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung-NYC is the sponsor. The book follows the plant collection Luxemburg built while imprisoned and uses it to read her politics as an ecological critique of colonial capitalism. Attendees get a garden setting, a serious left-history conversation, and a chance to buy the book and the magazine on site. Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 18:30–20:00. RSVP has lived on Eventbrite and on 6bgarden.org. The garden is outdoors; dress for weather. This is a talk, not a reception-only mixer.
